Well Lughnasadh  has  come and the Wood End  harvest is  coming in, the tomatos in the greenhouse are ripening slowly, the last marrow is slowly swelling, the runnerbeans are growing and the spuds are being unearthed and eaten. I have found out  this will be the last year of the greenhouse as dad can't deal with it anymore, Now i look forward  to my allotment  in the US and next years crops! The plastic bin experiment with the spuds was a success so i will  do this again and i know it works with Runner beans so once back i'll do this in the US !
